Use of mountain railway without skis

If you want to get closer to the sun without skis and in comfort, the Hochkönig ski region has several cable cars with pedestrian transport. Whether it's a visit to a mountain hut or a trip down to the valley to relieve tired legs after a strenuous day of skiing, you can use the following cable cars for a trip up and/or down without skiing equipment:

  • Maria Alm: Natrunbahn, Sonnbergbahn, Abergbahn, Schwarzeckalmbahn, Sinalcobahn, Hochmaisbahn
  • Dienten: Bürglalmbahn, Gabühelbahn
  • Mühlbach: Karbachalmbahn, Kings Cab (only valley transport - cable car is located in the ski area)

Information on transporting prams and dogs is available directly at the lift ticket offices or in the lift offices.
