In three stages you can hike along the Hochkönig without heavy luggage to crack the code. The mystery of the Highking Code leads you on a fascinating trail through the three places Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach. While you follow the coordinates to the unique hiding places, your luggage will already be waiting for you in your next accommodation. Once you have hiked all the caches and deciphered the code, you can open one of the three treasure chests you will find in each place at the Hochkönig crowns and get your personal geocoin.
Overnight stays in huts
Along the geocach tour "The Highking Code" there are many possibilities to stop for a bite to eat in traditional huts but also different possibilities for overnight stays in traditional huts. Overnight stays in huts can be booked with half board or breakfast and you will stay in shared rooms. However, luggage transfer to the huts on the mountain is not guaranteed.

Cabin accommodations can be booked with half-board or breakfast, and guests stay in shared rooms. However, please note that there is no luggage transfer service to the mountain huts.
