Our TIP: The "Culinary King Tours" are also available as vouchers. As a special gift, with which you can give a lot of pleasure to a dear person.

Wastalm - Maria Alm
The Kaminstüberl of the Wastalm can accommodate almost 35 guests. You can enjoy your herb cheese dumpling soup in small company. Here, by the way, vegan cooking is offered in addition to typical regional home cooking and herbal cuisine.

Dirndlalm - Maria Alm
The 2,117 m high local mountain "Hundstein" also turns out to be an all-rounder among the mountains when biking. The Hundstein is, via the Aberg variant, the highest grass mountain in Europe that can be ridden on an eBike. As a reward, you will receive a breathtaking panorama paired with down-to-earth culinary delights. In any case, during your summer holiday in Maria Alm every bike tour will be a sporty as well as a nature and pleasure experience.

Wiesenstadl - Maria Alm
Kaiserschmarren - with this word one not only wins the game Hangman, but has also arrived in culinary heaven on this day. By the way, the hut is situated 50 metres above the valley station of Hintermoos. The dessert is best enjoyed on the cosy sun terrace.

TOM Almhütte - Maria Alm
There are many huts, but none is as special as the tom Almhütte at 1.166m. This may be due to the fact that there is no other alpine hut in the whole of Salzburg Land with a pug as its mascot. In addition to a spectacular mountain panorama, you will find a good portion of taste: modern architecture is combined with rustic hut charm. Of course, the sparkling water for the sundowner is specially created.

Moosalm - Dienten
Under the motto "Simply move something from the To-Do-List to the Whatever-List and walk to the Moosalm" the Moosalm spoils you with home-smoked beef combined with pumpkin seed and farmhouse bread. The alp is situated in the Schwarzenbachgraben at 1.386 m above sea level.

Königsbergalm - Dienten
The cottage has been magnificently renovated and the Hotter family from the Lindlbauer farm in Dienten conjures up hearty snacks and fine delicacies for guests from their alpine and farm products. The beautiful view of the Bernkogel, Sonnblick and Hocharn frames this 'Almerer'.

Grünegg Alm - Dienten
Enjoy your holiday in the fantastic mountain world around the Grünegg Alm. The family-run business is situated at 1,190m above sea level in the beautiful village of Dienten. At the sweet end of the day you can also enjoy the magnificent view of the Hochkönig Massif. Our tip: visit the new show distillery, the Hochkönig Edelbrennerei, and try award-winning, high-proof delicacies.

Gabühelhütte - Dienten
The Gabühelalm is located at 1620 metres only 200 metres below the new Gabühelbahn mountain station. The hostess Klara serves the first course of the 3-course herb menu - a simple but very delicious chive bread. This hut is also worth a visit in other respects, because landlady Klara's speciality is her much-praised "Bauernkrapfen" (farmer's doughnuts).

Zachhofalm - Dienten
"Herbs, woods and BIO" - that's the kitchen at the Zachhofalm. All products and dishes convince with quality, taste and well-being. The food is from our own BIO farm Dachegg. Enjoy a little time out in the midst of unspoilt nature, with a freshly prepared herb cream cheese pancake.

Dientalm - Mill stream
The Dientalm, a genuine, traditionally managed alpine pasture, is situated between Mühlbach am Hochkönig and Dienten directly on the Dientnersattel at 1,400m. Here, the cows are still being driven from their home farm to the alpine pasture and, provided no misfortune happens in the summer, they are ceremonially decorated and driven off again at the end of September. For the tasty cheese, dairymaid Gretl naturally uses the fresh cow's milk from the grazing cattle.
